Mike Redding is the Managing Director of Accenture Ventures. In this role, Mike is responsible for growing a portfolio of strategic partnerships and equity investments in emerging technology companies to support Accenture’s and our client’s business transformations. Investment and business growth priorities include Artificial Intelligence, CyberSecurity, Augment/Virtual Reality, Blockchain, and Cloud (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS).
Mike’s passion for bold ideas that produce game-changing results has been a constant theme over his 25+ years with Accenture. Mike has incubated and launched technology innovations to clients across multiple geographies and industries including Banking, Mortgage Lending, Insurance, Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, Telecommunications, Life Sciences, and Public Sector Agencies (Defense and Postal). Mike speaks frequently on the impact of emerging technology on large organizations across various client, industry, and media forums.
Previously, Mike served five years as the Global Managing Director of Accenture Technology Labs, the dedicated technology R&D organization of Accenture. In that role, he led a diverse team of technology experts across the five global Labs locations. He directed the investment in technology R&D, collaborated with Accenture’s largest clients on their innovation agendas and oversaw all Labs go-to-market activities.
Mike received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University in 1988 and a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University in 1991. He is a former member of the board of directors for the Accenture Foundation. Mike lives in Silicon Valley with his wife, Pam.
